NEWSCENTER WEATHER FORECAST

Monday, September 8,  5:45 am

GOOD NEWS FOR THOSE MISSING THE SUMMER SEASON!

The switch for summer was turned off abruptly last week, and temperatures have stayed below average ever since.  Today isn't going to be much different, but there is hope to bring out the shorts again by the end of the week.

Today will bring partly sunny conditions through Northeastern Minnesota, but a weather maker will increase clouds this afternoon as well as bring in the chance for some hit or miss showers through Northwestern Wisconsin and the UP.  Don't expect the soaking rain, just light and brief showers if anything pops up at all from the afternoon heat.

There is a possibility to see some patchy frost throughout Northern Minnesota tonight, so it is time to bring in or cover sensitive plants again.  Temperatures on the Range will hoover close to 32, but should stay in the low 40s around the head of the lakes.

Clouds will clear out in the over night leaving tomorrow mostly sunny and temps rising into the mid 60s.  The next chance for rain arrives Wednesday evening through Thursday.

For the first look into the weekend forecast, expect highs near 70 on Saturday and mid 60s Sunday with mostly to partly sunny skies!

Have a great day!
