In cooperation with the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum, a commemorative tree planting ceremony is scheduled at St. Louis County's new Public Safety Building at 2030 Arlington Avenue in Duluth, located on the Chris Jensen Health & Rehabilitation Center campus. . The winless Bulldogs men's soccer team soccer team will play host to Mesa State College at 5:30 p.m. today and Fort Lewis State College at noon Sunday at James S. Malosky Stadium. Mesa State College is 1-0 and Fort Lewis 1-1. Minnesota Duluth is 0-3, its worst start in 15 years.

. Unbeaten Hermantown will play host to Cloquet in a Lake Superior Conference girl's soccer game at 5 p.m. today. The Hawks are off to an impressive 5-0 start, including three straight wins in the conference. The Lumberjacks are 2-1-2 overall and 1-0 in the league.

. The Duluth Central boy's soccer team will put its 2-0 Lake Superior Conference record on the line at 8 p.m. today against Proctor at Public Schools Stadium. The Trojans are off to an impressive 3-1 start and could establish themselves as a legitimate early contender for the
conference title with a win against the Rails, who are 3-2 overall and 2-2 in the league for six points. Central has four points in the conference.
